Skateboards were invented sometime in the 1940’s and 1950’s. From that time on, skateboards have been affiliated with surfers and teens throughout the worlds. With 11-14 million skateboarders in the USA, and with the average skateboarder using 2-4 skateboards a year. That is alot of skateboards in land fills.

They are generally colorful with interesting graphics. 2.) They are strong, so can be used for many things. 3.) They are flat, so anything to do with tables, shelving, storage they can be reused for. 4.) They come with wheels, which have numerous ways to reuse. 5.) They are wood, so anything that that you can make with wood, you can make with skate decks.
