Australian David Day has been making Beach Trash Art. His latest creation is a life-size wave made from flip flops found on the beach. He has made over 40 pieces so far but I love the wave.

Ocean rubbish turned into marine animals from ABC Open Tropical North on Vimeo.
Hi David
Your art is wonderful! I am an artist in Port Macquarie and have been asked by the local marine centre run by the school to make a large turtle out of beach rubbish. I am wondering if you could tell me what kind of glue you use to stick it all together?
