I got this comment about cardboard boxes and how to Rescue for Reuse. Considering the fact that Craigslist has at least 6 people giving away moving boxes- this might be a good opportunity to collect and resell! 

Went to Used Cardboard Boxes to check it out! This is what they say:

“Please help us keep the trees in the forest and boxes off our streets!   1. Great post! I used this company for my last move. I HOPE I don’t have to move again any time soon, but I would DEFINITELY use them again. I went to their site, selected the 2 bedroom kit and it arrived THE NEXT DAY. Had all these great boxes, tape, paper, a marker, etc. Boxes were great (had tape on them, but great) and were about 1/2 of what those “highway robbers” charge at retail stores. Have you seen the prices at the UPS store??? Ugh! Great company. Green and cheap! Two great things.

  17. Hello everyone. My company sells cardboard balers to small and mid-size stores. I am looking to hook up with a recycler in the Boston MA area that could pick up 100-150lb Bales. If the customer can make money off the cardboard great but free pick up would work. The potential is there for a large amount of cardboard. Thousands of pounds per week anyway.     How are you disposing of the boxes right now? How large is the store? Depending on the size of the store and where you are located you can bale the cardboard and sell it. You would need to bale it so the bales are either mill ready or large enough where you can store some and have them picked up once a month or so. I would be happy to discuss this further.   47. Our company currently sells good gaylords to the scrap yard and gives away the bad gaylords and broken down cardboard boxes we get on occassion to them for free. We are thinking of getting into the cardboard recycling business as we have customers asking us to take their cardboard away as a free service. But we need to make money on it. We want fast and easy and someone local to take on what we have been giving away for free. We can potentially get to the point where we stockpile and bale it ourselves for recycling. Any help on how to find someone that would pay for the baled junk cardboard?

  50. Hello to all here on the Green Eco site. Here is my email and phone ## if interested in selling Used and/or New Gaylord Boxes. We also sell as well as buy. That is the bulk of our Business boxes and other recyclables.
    I am in need of HTP 41 Gaylord Boxes which are 48x40x41 inches and have 4 or 5 wall thickness. They have folding flaps on the top and bottom. We also buy and sell Gaylord’s with Full flaps on the bottom and no flaps on top. These are various sizes from 48x40x41 to 40x40x40 and even 48x40x36.
