HireAHelper and Used Cardboard Boxes join together for eco- friendly moving. What that means is that both companies have a link that provides customers to get the service of the other. After booking labor on hireahelper.com, you can also order boxes directly from used cardboard boxes right there on HireAHelper. Or visa versa, you can also compare prices for hiring loading or unloading help on usedcardboardboxes.com. powered by Hire A Helper.
Used Cardboard Boxes.com provides low-cost, earth-friendly moving boxes. They don’t cut down any trees, but rescue truckloads of boxes from large companies. Their boxes are evaluated before reusing and sent out to customers to make sure they are up to standards. They are able to provide moving kits, moving boxes, and moving supplies which they resell via their website . The goal: “Save Time, Save Money, Save Trees.”
HireAHelper.com provides local, cheap moving labor. Customers can search for local helpers using their zip code and view rates for every helper in the area. Learn more about each helper in their individual profile and read reviews from past customers.
Moving labor and cardboard boxes make the perfect combination. If you are moving in the near future, these are the sites to checkout.

Recycling cardboard boxes is great but another option is using reusable moving boxes from the company I founded called ZippGo. ZippGo rents reusable moving boxes for as long as you need them with typical moves requiring them for about 2 weeks. ZippGo boxes are made from 100% recycled plastic and are delivered to your home using trucks powered by biodiesel made from waste vegetable oil. Aside from being stronger than cardboard boxes, ZippGo boxes are also crush proof, tear proof, and water proof. All these benefits at a cost that is less than the process of buying cardboard.

Wow… sounds like an advertisement… not a blog comment! Hey Zipgo, maybe you should zipgo pay for some advertising, rather than spend your time trying to steal other companies spotlight… and trying to get free advertising in blogs…. where normal people are having discussions. Thoughts?

i’m so confused??? Is zippgo related to zipcar or zippo lighters? I think they need to get a better name-it’s a bit confusing and how does zipp and go relate to moving green??. Also, looks like zippgo is greenwashing . I checked out their website and lots of eco claims and nothing to really support their position. I still think getting used boxes for free like we did on our last move or buying a few is still the greenest way to go. I do agree with bruce… kinda of lame to promote your business on a blog!

I really like this company. They have a great staff that is friendly and they work hard to satisfy you, so I’d say definitely check them out if you’re on the look out for reliable boxes at a fair price.

Actually I work at a company in Salt Lake City that has rentable recycled plastic containers that you send back after you are done moving. I’m glad people are really starting to wake up and be more earth friendly.
