This is a first.. eyewear made from trash that was found by dredging the bottom of the Thames River. And these.. are a def one-of-a-kind eyeglass. Cubitts a five year old eyewear retailer in a commemoration of London.. crafted a historic spectacle piece made from things like hair pins, a WWII bullet, and a shard of a Bellarmine glazed ceramic.
Called a Frame For London, it will be on display from 15 November at an exhibition that Cubitts is putting on. Called Retrospective: London, Spectacles, and Half a Millennia, it will be at St. James Pavillon.
