I find myself loathe to do these numbers as it is becoming more and more evident that I need to step up. There is no doubt in my mind one can do it, but I am unwilling or not hungry enough to dig through trash cans for food and recyclables, drag my wagon 2x a day and cover 4 miles of beach.
Believe it or not, anyone can live with the leftover pizza’s, chips, fruit, beef jerky, raw hamburger and hot dogs, graham crackers, marshmallows, candy, carrots and celery that is uneaten on the beach.
Income from recycling was $60.66. Found money was $22.00 for a grand total of $82.00, which does not even pay my Internet!
The only ‘food and drink’ scored from the beach was beer. My fisherman friends are not fishing down here as it is too kelpy and not enough sand crabs. Therefore no fish. But, if desperate, one can eat Kelp and garden snails.
31 Days in May and did not pick up beach trash on 9 of those days. 22 Days of Beach Trash. That is 183. 5 pieces of beach trash a day. Doesn’t sound like much, but pulling wet towels, 2-3 Gallons of water and glass bottles through sand… it gets heavy. In addition, lost data on 2 days.

June is turning out to be more profitable…. but still need to step up.
