I have really, really dry skin. Too many years baking on the beach without any type of sunscreen. This time of year is really hard- the skins starts cracking and bleeding. My old routine- (from my dermatologist) use soap only in groin and underarms, Dove Soap only, then baby oil or Neutrogena right after shower, then put on lotion, Eucerin. Quite a process and I still have flaky dry skin.
Believe you me, I have tried everything, in fact, I started doing test markets on my legs- (Eucerin 1 leg and new lotion the other) I always came back to Eucern.
After learning about how toxic, my skin care was- What’s a flakey women to do! Then I got the press release from Organic Essence with the new biodegradable jar. Just had to try!
I love it and wish I could show you the difference on my legs. Unfortunately I had a bad fall, and the legs would just gross you out. (They gross me out)
This is what I like:
1.) Biodegradable Jar- You could also probably save the jar and rewrap gifts in.
2.) Shea Butter- Warm it up in your hand and it goes on very smoothly.
3.) My legs are not alligator skin any more. They still are, but much, much better.
4.) USDA Certified Organic
5.) Label is printed with soy ink and paper is FSC certified.
6.) I am saving money and time! I don’t need all the other skin stuff- my routine has changed (and I love it!
Here’s what the label says:
‘Organic Shea Cream is a natural cold pressed oil from the african karite nut. It is well known for promoting capillary circulation and is considered to be a superior healer and rejuvenator for troubled, dry or aging skin. Pure Organic Shea Cream can be applied on your lips or on any dry area of skin. Use twice daily to help soften calluses and condition cuticles.’
My recommendation- Try it- You will like it- I did!
