I pick up thousands of beach toys yearly on the beach. NO Lie.. Most of those fun and colorful toys all come with plastic packaging.
The packaging encompasses 4 items. 1 large plastic net, 2 piece ‘clip’ closure and paper label. Most of these toy bundles include 5 plastic toys.
Because they are white and small, they are easily lost in the sand. The netting alone can choke and entrap fish.
Can you imagine how easily these small plastic pieces could be swallowed by a sea animal? Wonder what those ridges would do a stomach?
This is another type of clip, have picked up hundreds of these.
There really is no excuse for this. All you have to do is place all parts in the trash can, or better yet don’t buy.
