  16. Have home near Auburn, Al. Built in late 19th century. Primarily heart of pine. Family wants to take down for safety reasons. Want to get someone to take down for the wood leaving us enough for farmhouse table. Please email me if you know of anyone interested.

The Town of Garden City has a building to be removed – it’s approximately 100 year old 48’ x 140’ heavy framed timber building, with rough sawn yellow pine 2” x 6”’s , 400+ sheets of tin roofing, building sides are tin, ceiling joists are 4’ on center, rafters are 2’ on center, 14-16 center posts 6” x 8”x 12’, interior walls are lined with 1×6 oak boards.
    Great materials for building new items by reclaiming this building’s 100 year old lumber and tin.
    Building must be completely removed and lot cleared down to the concrete slab.
    Garden City is accepting sealed bids to purchase and completely remove this building. Sealed bids accepted until noon, Monday, February 16, 2015.
