I love Koa wood and Hawaiian design. Getting anything to and from Hawaii is expensive due to the cost of transportation. If you can buy local in Hawaii it saves valuable resources and reduces impact on the environment. I found this site, Wuttle Werks (wuttkewerks.blogspot.com) in Hawaii is making furniture from reclaimed wood and scraps.
Their site says free delivery in Honolulu and only $50 through Hawaii.
