  5. Anyone interested in materials from a 1930s barn in our backyard in Austin, Texas?

    The structure is built of beautiful, 100 year-old longleaf pine. This wood is very sought after, since there is no more of it commercially available to harvest in the world. The barn is approximately 18 x 18 x 6 ft, so there is ~2000 sqft of wood for sale – enough material to redo floors or build furniture!

    In addition to the wood, the barn has a tin roof and sliding barn doors.

  15. My name is Linda my husband retired in 2013 and we moved to Montgomery Texas and started building our dream retirement home. We adopted two of our grandchildren and they loved the area close to aunts , uncles and cousins. We have paid cash for everything. We bought land that slrea f y had a slab so we have h as d to build with the o Rg ig. Owners plans. So we put in our septic and started putting up a steel building. We love our red and white barn. In the beginning we were under Montgomery rules now conroe has taken us over. We have lived in a rv the entire time. Conroe has reslly wants us out of rv assp. Ordering is to unhook sep th I c and electiv. Noone wants out of the RV more than my family. We have spent all our savings. If the house was finished we could do a reverse mtg. And pay back any loan. Helping us to finish our home. We need lumber and flooring any materials to get to a point to live in the barn. If anyone knows of any lumber, insulation they need to get rid of. We planned and planed we were sure we had enought to finish our home. Any cabinets, sinks any building materials. We have our shelll finished we need to frame the inside and set up temp. Kitchen and bathroom. We are desperate to move into the house. We we’ll move in with out any thing very soon. Due to sickness a heart attack and just high med. Prices after retirement we are in the same boat as so many families. If you know of anyone that has salvage wood or any wood rhey need to get rid of ar a decent price. Please contact me. We are desperate for any materials that can help us from living on top of each other. Being able to cook and fo laundry at home would save us so much money. This has affected our kids. They wouldn’t invite friends over. Being in a normal house would realy give all of us a boost we need.

  22. I used reclaimed gym flooring to remodel my living room, but ran out before I was finished. Looking for maple gym flooring. The kind i used is 8 inches wide 3 tier interlocking, look like it is 2 1/4 in wide pieces, it is made in Sweden on the back has foam backing it was supposed to have been taken out of the Denison TX school. I don’t think I’ll be able to find that kind but you never know. If not, does anyone know where i can get just regular maple gym floor 2 1/4 in wide reasonable?
