Here is a political statement- 80 recycled oil drums -solar panels are made into a peace sign sculpture that stands 58 feet tall. Fred George designed this sculpture to bring to our attention “sound a global alarm of our crisis of consumption”
Fred Georges Solar Peace Sculpture will also be appearing at ART. FAIR 21 in Europe. It consists of a solid steel framework in the shape of a peace sign carrying 31 oil drums. These in turn carry 31 solar panels which produce energy that can be used for multimedia installations at the foot of the sculpture.
To be constructed at Madison Square in New York as well.
