Millions of pounds of trash go into our oceans, we have all heard of the Pacific Ocean Garbage Patch, the issue has been what to do with all of the trash that winds up in the ocean? How to clean it up, where do you put it and how to reuse it?
Electrolux came up with a creative solution and made a series of Vacuum cleaners from various oceans around the world.
The North Sea Vac is made from a part of 20,000 million pounds of garbage dumped into the North Sea
The Indian Ocean edition was gathered off the beaches and coral reefs consisted of discarded empty beer bottles, broken glass, plastic straws, spoons and uncountable chunks of Styrofoam. The divers had to cut nets and plastic bags loose from the coral reef. The total rubbish collected over the two day cleanup event amounted to 962 kilos.

This is great. Aside from saving our nature, it is very attractive, If I own this vacuum cleaner I will not use it, I will simply display it. I like the designs and the combining of colors it’s good into the human eyes. At first glance at this post, I thought those photos above are trolley bags…Nice idea. Great art!
