Seen on Kickstarter, these seaweed straws are biodegradable and able to break down in water after a few weeks. Made from food materials, they are gluten free, non- GMO, no sugar and can last 18 hours. Better yet, the straws can be eaten.. think Sushi.
Loliware based in New York, is focused on eliminating all single use plastics… this is just a start. I think they will be successful, as they have venture capital and are a Mark Cuban (Shark Tank) company.
If I was a straw person, I would definitely purchase, but I will not allow straws at my house..
