Tara Traynor enjoys doing her part for the environment even though recycling depots across the city, like the St. James Civic Centre, continue to see many cases of illegal dumping that is costing the city money.
It’s costing the City of Winnipeg up to $10,000 a year to clean up illegal dumping at a west Winnipeg recycling depot.
The St. James Civic Centre at 2055 Ness Ave. is one of seven depots that the city spends $60,000 annually to maintain.
