We love Terracycle, who actually pays you to recycle has now joined with Scotch Tape to Recycle Tape Dispensers! From the Site
‘There are millions of tape dispensers and cores that end up in landfills across the country. Scotch® Tape is collaborating with TerraCycle™ to keep used tape dispensers out of landfills. Through this innovative program, people will be able to collect used Scotch® Clear Tape Dispensers and Cores; once 50 dispensers and cores are collected they can be shipped back to TerraCycle™. All collected Scotch® Clear Tape Dispensers and Cores will be recycled and kept out of landfills.
The Scotch® Tape Brigade is open to all organizations and schools, and for each Scotch® Clear Tape Dispenser or Core received, 2¢ will be donated to a non-profit organization or school. If you don’t have a charity in mind, you may choose from a list of existing charities!
This program is entirely free – there are no signup or participation fees.’
