Since I went on a 3 mile walk the other day and picked up 3 plastic bags wafting in the street, this mockumentary is so way too true, because I picked up one bag right before it went down a storm drain.
DDB L.A. created this mockumentary for Southern California’s coastal environmental group, Heal the Bay.
The video, narrated by Jeremy Irons, shows the life cycle of the plastic bag, from grocery store to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
According to the organization, 19 billion bags are used every year, creating over 123,000 tons of unnecessary waste, and less than five percent of all single-use bags are recycled, with many ending up in the Pacific’s gyre of plastic

Very informative!!
In recent times, the world is becoming cognizant about the hazardous effects of plastic bags on the environment.
Also PLA has been used to line the inside of Paper Cups in place of the oil based lining more commonly used, create Green plastics Cups, Cutlery, Carrier Bags, Food Packaging and even Nappies.
Thanks,
