Thanks for publishing this, Cathy.
My view: Colorado, Montana and Kansas are suffering from a huge spike of non-human animal and unremoved roadkill collisons resulting in fatalities, whereas Mississppi and Louisiana have had years of unremoved road debris and until about five years ago, little political will/accountablity and terribly inadequate budgeting to abate such from roadways.
