I am so happy to see this tree-house made entirely of reclaimed/salvaged material. I am in the lumber reclaiming business. I hope more people begin to realize that we have so much lumber that is going to waste and needs to be used. Barns are destroyed in the Mid-west every day. It is sad to see the lumber that we cannot get to. Plus, so many people in the trade will only take down barns that are in good shape for reconstruction. The other buildings are left to die. I am trying to save some of that lumber and convert it into useable lumber once again. Using reclaimed lumber is a change a mind-set that I believe needs to occur in the United States before the time runs out. These old barns won’t last forever. They are going down faster than we can save the lumber. So if you need lumber for your next project, think “reclaimed”. It offers a beauty that cannot be compared to todays wood. monica SADlumber, LLC Stop Advancing Destruction of America’s virgin lumber 847-732-1224 Reclaimed Lumber: A Solid Investment in American History
